Who was the Russian man behind Goa's double murder?

Aleksei Leonov, a 37-year-old Russian national staying in North Goa, has been arrested for allegedly killing two Russian women within 24 hours. Police say Leonov first murdered his friend Elena Vaneeva in Morjim on January 14, then travelled to Arambol and killed his girlfriend Elena Kasthanova the next evening.
