Who's Karnataka BJP MLA Madal Virupakshappa whose son was caught taking bribe?

Karnataka BJP MLA Madal Virupakshappa's son Prashanth Madal was arrested when he was caught accepting ₹40-lakh bribe on Thursday. Lokayukta Police recovered ₹2 crore from the MLA's office and ₹6 crore from Prashanth's home. Virupakshappa is the MLA from Channagiri in Davanagere district. He resigned as Chairman of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited, which makes the famous Mysore Sandal Soap.
