Why accessories like car mounts can affect iPhone rear cameras

Strong magnets in iPhone accessories, including car mounts, grips and magnetic cases, can interfere with rear-camera performance. iPhone cameras have optical image stabilisation and closed-loop autofocus (AF) which use sensors that respond to magnetic fields. These fields can interfere with or temporarily disable the camera sensors and degrade their accuracy, resulting in blurry photos.
