Why are Albanians protesting a tourism project linked to Trump's son-in-law?
A protest movement in Albania, dubbed the "Flamingo Revolution," is opposing a luxury tourism project which is linked to Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump. Kushner’s investment firm, Affinity Partners, has launched a project to build 10,000 hotel rooms along Albania’s coast. Protesters argue the site is home to flamingos and more than 200 other migratory bird species.
