The Supreme Court has ordered that except for 38 deer at the Deer Park in South Delhi, all other remaining deer are to be transported to two tiger reserves in Rajasthan. This is because the park can sustainably hold only 19 breeding pairs, with the court directing that only 15 males and 23 female deer will be retained.
