Team India players wore black armbands in their first T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eight match against Afghanistan. It was in memory of former India cricketer David Johnson, who passed away aged 52 on Thursday. Johnson, who was a fast bowler, represented India in two Test matches. He passed away after falling from fourth-floor balcony in Bengaluru.
