Why are many Indian stock gaming apps shutting down?

Several startups that were built around stock gaming are shutting down or pausing operations after SEBI barred exchanges from sharing real-time share prices with third parties. The move was announced in the wake of heightened interest of retail investors and allowed apps to use delayed data feed for educational purposes. These apps allowed users to trade for leisure or learning.
