Why are numbers and logos on England and Australia cricketers' jerseys red today?

England and Australia cricketers are wearing special commemorative shirts with red numbers at Lord's today to support Ruth Strauss Foundation for spreading awareness about lung cancer. At start of Day 2 of Lord's Test, players also wore red caps. The foundation was set up by ex-England captain Andrew Strauss after his wife Ruth died due to lung cancer in 2018.
