Why can't Vaibhav Sooryavanshi play for India yet?

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has scored 701 runs in 18 T20 innings at strike-rate of 204.37, can't represent India yet as he's 14. According to ICC's rules introduced in 2020, a player must be at least 15 years old to participate in international cricket. Vaibhav will turn 15 on March 27, 2026 and become eligible to represent India at senior level.
