Why did Delhi CM to-be Atishi drop her second name 'Marlena'?

AAP leader Atishi, who is named as new Delhi CM, dropped her second name 'Marlena' in 2018 as it is a portmanteau of names of communist ideologues (Karl) Marx and (Vladimir) Lenin. "My surname is Singh which I never used," Atishi had said. Several reports claimed that BJP might try to project Atishi as foreigner and Christian over the name.
