MVA, a Congress, Shiv Sena-UBT and NCP(SP) alliance, lost Maharashtra elections to BJP-led Mahayuti. MVA became over-confident after Lok Sabha poll results, CPI(M)'s Ashok Dhawale said. Schemes like Ladki Bahin Yojana reportedly made voters favour Mahayuti.
