In June, Elon Musk called Sergio Gor, US President Donald Trump's pick as US ambassador to India, a "snake" on X. Musk’s remark followed a report that Gor, who vets executive-branch staff, lacked permanent security clearance and was working under interim status. According to The Hill, Musk also clashed with Gor in Cabinet meetings when the former was DOGE chief.
