Why did FSSAI order immediate recall of Everest cumin powder?

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) ordered the immediate recall of Everest Food Products' pre-packed cumin powder, Batch No. E080668761, from the market. The action came after laboratory tests found pesticide residues of Azoxystrobin and Thiamethoxam above the prescribed maximum limits. Based on these findings, the Food Analyst declared the sample 'unsafe'.
