India crashed out of Asian Games eFootball competition after opponents Mongolia arrived three minutes late for their group match. Organisers awarded India 0-0 forfeit win, leaving them without goal difference they needed to advance. India then refused to pay $500 appeal fee as player Chinmay Sahoo said it would've been "waste of money". Sahoo said rules already mandated a forfeit.
