Why did OpenAI suddenly end its Cursor deal after nearly four yrs?

OpenAI is ending its nearly four-year partnership with AI coding startup Cursor after Elon Musk-led SpaceX acquired the company for $60 billion. OpenAI said it could not ensure SpaceX would use its technology within its terms of service, citing Musk’s companies’ alleged contract violations. It also claimed Musk’s Twitter, now part of SpaceX, had previously breached their agreement.
