Why didn't INC build Ram Temple when idol emerged in 1949: Trust member

Kameshwar Chaupal, a Ram Temple trust member, has asked why didn't Congress build the Ram Temple when an idol of Lord Ram surfaced in 1949. "Congress was in government. No one could stand against Nehru...they could have built the temple then and could have taken all the credit," Chaupal stated. "Rahul Gandhi can't understand the soul of India," he added.
