Why do astronauts remove their wisdom teeth before space travel?

Astronauts remove their wisdom teeth before space travel as they are notoriously unpredictable. While they can remain harmless for years, they can suddenly cause swelling/infections with little warning. It's a serious risk in space and can compromise the mission, unlike Earth, where one can visit a dentist. Shubhanshu Shukla also got his two wisdom teeth removed before going to space.
