Why has German town voted to kill all its pigeons & how will it do so?

German town Limburg an der Lahn has voted to exterminate all of its 700 pigeons. The town's pigeons have reportedly frustrated many of the residents and business owners. A legal fight was prompted by complaints over the birds' droppings. Over next two years, a falconer will lure the birds into traps, bludgeon them to stun them before breaking their necks.
