Why has Hardik Pandya been replaced by Shubman Gill as Team India vice-captain?

Hardik Pandya has been replaced by Shubman Gill as India's white-ball vice-captain for tour of Sri Lanka. Gill led India to 4-1 series win against Zimbabwe in the recently-concluded five-match series. Hardik will miss ODI leg of the series. Hardik's fitness concerns and workload management are said to be the reasons behind the management not giving Hardik a leadership role.
