Why has Jantar Mantar been removed as official protest site?

Delhi Police denotified Jantar Mantar as designated protest site and named Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground as the new sites after recommendations from a Home Ministry panel. Officials said the new sites were chosen for their greater mobility, high-capacity traffic transit flexibility and multi-directional entry points. Earlier, CJP sought permission for protest at Jantar Mantar.
