US government has banned its officials and their family members from having romantic or sexual relationships with Chinese nationals over China's use of "honeypots" to extract sensitive information. A former CIA analyst said Chinese state security agents have been known to seduce American diplomats, and even ordinary Chinese citizens who date American diplomats could be vulnerable to coercion.
