Why have 5 players been reduced from India's Asian Games tennis squad, including India's no.1?
India's Asian Games tennis squad has been reduced from 12 to seven after the Sports Ministry removed five players selected by the All India Tennis Association. India's no. 1 women's singles player Sahaja Yamalapalli, along with Manas Dhamne, Vaishnavi Adkar, Vaidehee Chaudhari and Prarthana Thombare, were excluded. The decision has left the Indian contingent without its leading singles contenders.
