Why is India a part of 2019 G7 Summit despite not being a member?
Despite not being a member of the G7, India is part of this year's G7 Summit in France's Biarritz as a "Special Partner". At the G7 Summit, PM Narendra Modi will hold a number of bilateral meetings with world leaders apart from participating in two sessions on Climate, Biodiversity, Oceans & Digital Transformation, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
