Why is Jitesh Sharma not captaining PBKS vs RR in IPL 2024?

Questions were raised after vice-captain Jitesh Sharma didn't lead the Punjab Kings in Shikhar Dhawan's absence. With no official explanation issued one can speculate that Jitesh's poor form this season could be the reason behind Sam Curran leading the side. Sharma scored 106 runs in six innings this season and hence, PBKS may have named Curran as the captain.
