July 2 is celebrated as World UFO Day to raise awareness about unidentified flying objects. Some also observe June 24 as World UFO Day to mark the first widely reported sighting of a group of UFOs by aviator Kenneth Arnold in 1947. Meanwhile, July 2 is considered to be the date of supposed UFO crash in US' 1947 Roswell incident.
