Why is Meta turning to tents for data centre expansion?

Meta is building tents across US to house AI servers worth billions of dollars, according to Cleanview Founder Michael Thomas. It is using these structures to accelerate its AI infrastructure buildout and gain speed in the intensifying AI race. Unlike traditional concrete data centres that take two to four years to build, the weatherproof tents can be deployed within months.
