Why is Pakistan renaming places with Hindu names like Krishan Nagar, Dharampura?

Pakistan's Punjab government has approved a plan to restore the pre-Partition Hindu and Sikh names of areas in Lahore such as Krishan Nagar (Islampura) and Dharampura (Mustafaabad). This is part of 'Lahore Heritage Area Revival' project, which aims to revive Pakistan's cultural capital to its pre-partition heritage. Pakistan reportedly aims to change its "radical image" to a multicultural nation.
