Why Kerbs of Formula 1 track is white and red in colour?
Most Formula 1 fans think that the iconic red-and-white colouring of the kerbs serves the purpose of providing high visibility to drivers. However, the real reason behind this is a sponsorship deal between Formula 1 and the cigarette company Marlborough. In the 1970s Marlborough sponsored the Kerbs and gave it their current colour scheme i.e. Red and White.
