Why Kuldeep Yadav Used to Be Called a Chinaman Bowler?

Normally, left arm spinners' delivery goes away from a right hand batsman. But when they bowl their version of leg spin, the ball comes into the batsman. Bowlers who can do this are very rare. These bowlers are called Chinamen after Ellis Achong (1st player of Chinese descent who played for West Indies) bowled an English man in 1933.
