Why Navy never wanted HAL's LUH and what new UH-M will change

The Indian Navy clarified that Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi's remarks on HAL's Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) were taken out of context. The LUH was never designed or evaluated for naval use due to its single-engine design. Instead, the Navy is pursuing HAL's twin-engine Utility Helicopter-Maritime (UH-M) to replace ageing Chetak helicopters.
