Why North India is facing extreme heatwave conditions?

Weather experts said there are several reasons behind heatwave in North India, with strong dry winds blowing from Rajasthan and Pakistan being a major factor. Heatwave-hit regions are experiencing clear skies and little cloud cover, leading to rapid heating of land. There's a 62-80% possibility of El Niño conditions developing between May-August which can cause India to face hotter summers.
