Why professionals are leaving cities for smaller, peaceful towns?

A growing trend called reverse migration is seeing professionals leave cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru over high rent, EMIs, traffic, and expenses. Many say even earning ₹1-2 lakh monthly is not enough for savings. With work from home/hybrid models, people are moving to hill states, smaller towns for better quality of life, cleaner air, lower costs and peace.
