Why rain and hailstorm hit Delhi-NCR suddenly?

IMD said a western disturbance triggered Delhi-NCR's sudden weather change. A cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and J-K, along with another over UP, pulled moisture into northern India. These systems along with active troughs created perfect conditions for thunderstorms, rain and hail. Another western disturbance is expected from May 2, which could bring more showers and lower temperatures.
