Why should we be oversensitive?: SC on old NCERT book criticising its rulings

While hearing a petition over criticism in an older Class 8 NCERT textbook, the Supreme Court said, "People have a right to criticise our judgements." The chapter claimed the Court's "recent judgements tend to view the slum dweller as an encroacher in the city." Responding, the bench said, "That's healthy criticism. Why the judiciary should be so oversensitive about that."
