Why was Shilpa Shyla upgraded to CWG bronze despite finishing fourth?

India's Shilpa K Shyla initially finished fourth in the women's shot put F57 final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games with a personal-best 7.26 m. Nigeria's Eucharia Iyiazi took bronze after her 8.19 m throw was declared valid. India protested the attempt, and a review ruled it a foul. Since Iyiazi had no other valid mark, Shyla was promoted to bronze.
