Layak Singh, Co-founder of Indian dating platforms dateIITians and COGXIO, founded in 2011 and 2014 respectively, has written a post explaining why the startups were shut. "Our assumptions were proved false and we did not achieve the growth we were expecting," wrote Singh. He also cited lack of funding and customer retention as the reasons behind their shutdown.
