Why will Kerala police stations display cartoons on their walls?

Authorities have decided to put up positive cartoons about police at Kerala police stations seeking to change the conventional perception of police stations and to make them more people-friendly. All the 481 Kerala police stations would have at least one positive cartoon within the next two months. Cartoons carrying the messages of anti-corruption and humanity would also be put up.
