Why will records of players in International League T20 not count?

Statistics of players in UAE's International League T20 (ILT20), which began today, won't be added to their professional records. As per ICC's regulations, competitions hosted by non-Full members cannot be given T20 status. Earlier, Global T20 Canada tournament was also not granted T20 status for the same reason. Notably, three of ILT20's six franchises are owned by IPL team owners.
