Why will they take the risk now?: Ashwin on prospects of Dhoni playing for CSK

Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin opined that MS Dhoni would play if CSK fall out of contention for the IPL 2026 playoffs. He added, "CSK are still in the tournament, so why will they take the risk now?" noting that CSK still have a chance to make the playoffs. CSK are currently in sixth position on IPL 2026 points table.
