Wife of Indian-origin man plans his kidnapping for 'hefty ransom' in South Africa, charged

A woman has been charged with allegedly masterminding the kidnapping of her Indian-origin husband for a hefty ransom in South Africa, PTI reported. While the husband was rescued unharmed on Monday by authorities, a multidisciplinary team that traced the suspects reportedly found the woman, who was also apparently abducted, socialising with them. The ransom demand amount has not been specified.
