Wild elephant attack in Kodagu claims life of IPS officer’s wife

A wild elephant attack in Kodagu district of Karnataka claimed the life of Sandhya Achaya, wife of senior IPS officer and RAW IG Sunil Achaya. The incident occurred at an estate in Konankatte, near Gonikoppal in South Coorg when the animal charged at a group. She sustained critical injuries and died while being rushed to hospital.
