A wild elephant charged at people trying to drive it away from a paddy field using torches. The animal moved through knee-deep mud, sending the group scrambling for safety. Uttarakhand Special Secretary Dr PM Dhakate shared the video and warned that elephants can accelerate quickly, while shouting, waving torches or throwing firecrackers may trigger a defensive charge.
