NASA's Earth-observing satellites have spotted a forest fire in Greenland, which has a population of just over 56,000. The fire is reportedly the largest wildfire recorded in the country by a satellite since 2000. NASA said warmer temperatures combined with summer melted the country's icy landscape revealing vegetation, which most probably started a wildfire due to a lightning strike.
