Wildlife death compensation hiked to ₹17.5 lakh in Kerala

The state government has raised compensation for wildlife attack deaths from ₹14 lakh to ₹17.5 lakh. Families of snake bite, bee sting and wasp sting victims will get ₹5 lakh. Aid for permanent disability and minor injuries has also increased, with emergency assistance of up to ₹1 lakh available through CMDRF.
