Will be surprised if US-India deal is not struck by March: CEA
Chief Economic Advisor V Anantha Nageswaran said most India-US trade issues have been resolved, and he’d be “surprised” if a deal isn’t reached by March 2026. His remarks follow US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer's remark that India has made the "best offers Washington has received". High-level talks in New Delhi continue as both sides work to finalise the trade pact.
