Will halt PLI disbursement if targets not met in 15 days: Vaishnaw to electronics sector

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed disappointment with electronics manufacturers for not meeting the target of a proper structured programme on in-house design capabilities and Six Sigma standards. He warned the industry of halting disbursement of funds under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) if targets are not met. He gave industry 15 days to update key parameters.
