Will introduce framework to regulate social media: Govt tells HC

The Centre told the Delhi High Court that it will introduce a framework to regulate social media platforms at "some point in time". Since the framework will be prospective, the Centre said that suspension of social media accounts will be looked at under the existing regulations. The HC granted the Centre further time to apprise it of new developments.
