Will not contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections: ex-Karnataka CM

Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on Saturday announced that he will not contest the Lok Sabha elections scheduled in 2019. This comes after reports claimed that he will contest elections after being selected in the Congress working committee. Siddaramaiah, who had contested the recently-concluded state election from two constituencies, won from the Badami seat.
