Will petrol and diesel prices be cut soon? Oil Minister responds

Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said petrol and diesel prices could be reduced if crude oil prices continue to decline. He explained that the current stock is based on crude bought in April-May, when prices were high. He added, "If this decline continues for two to three months, we'll see." Global crude prices recently fell as low as $70/barrel.
