Will promote 'Make in India': Jaishankar on interim deal with US

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hailed the India-US interim trade agreement as a "mutually beneficial" partnership. He said the deal "will ensure greater market access and opportunities for our exporters", adding, "New vistas have opened up that will further promote Make in India." As part of this framework, the US will slash reciprocal tariffs on Indian goods to 18%.
